Red Velvet

My second attempt at red velvet. This time I used Bakerella's recipe and it was much better than the random google search recipe I used the first time. Other than food coloring and a little less cocoa, is there really any difference between red velvet and chocolate? Red velvet is definitely prettier.

Santa Barbara

We went up to Pismo Beach in January to check out the butterfly grove. We stopped in Santa Barbara for a few hours on the way home, which turned out to be more photogenic.
